Job description
Our Client is large a brokerage located in Vaughan. They are currently looking for an Intermediate Personal Lines Account Manager (CSR) to grow with their team.
If you have a minimum of 5+ years experience as a RIBO Licensed CSR working in a brokage and have a desire to continue their insurance career in a highly energetic and positive environment, then this office is where you would like to be.
- TAM Experience
- Service Clients needs via phone and in person.
- Call Clients for direct bill over due notice.
- Send out inspection recommendation letters.
- Follow up on company requests for underwriting info.
- Forward cheques to company on behalf of client.
- Rate and quote all existing, renewal and monoline Personal Lines risks.
- Remarket clients if required in order to maintain business.
- Screen and process Personal Lines applications, obtaining complete information from client.
- Review applications, renewal requests, and endorsements for compliance with underwriting authority and guidelines.
- Process Lombard changes on line and forward letter to client.
- Prepare and/or authorize ID cards for Auto clients when necessary.
- Initiate, screen, and prepare endorsement requests on Personal Lines.
- Handle mortgagee requests and inquires by telephone and /or letter. (binders)
- Collect A/R process cancellation requests.
- Rate and compute endorsement, cancellation, additional, or return premiums.
- Keep up to date on rate, form, and coverage changes through bulletins, circulars and comp-u-quote.
- Take claim reports and maintain claim files on clients handled.
- Contact Clients when cancellation notice is received to see if it can be reinstated. If not add activity to follow/up to write business again and add activity to state why business was lost.
- Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Authorize Personal Lines coverage binding within authority granted by carrier and meeting RDA underwriting guidelines.
- Contact carriers as needed.
- Contact producers as needed.
- Maintain client files and client contact as needed.
- Submit required reports to Personal Lines CSR Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Adhere to and comply with established agency procedures.
- Communications Log (cancelled clients) – Daily
Expiration Report (F/U Renewals if missed) – Weekly
Age Receivable Report (payments) – Weekly
Claims Report (F/U on large payouts, review and underwrite as required) – Monthly – QuarterlyMonoline List (Solicit the Business) – Daily/Weekly
