Description and Requirements
The PCSD WW Demand planner will be an instrumental player of the PCSD Business Group within the IDG COO Organization. The role will be responsible for working closely with the Global Supply Chain, Segments and GEOs to optimize the demand planning, LTF and PRG. This role is a true partnership and extension of many teams, regardless of reporting line.
Responsibilities:
- Drive more consistency and alignment of the demand across GEOs/Segments/IDG expectations.
- Identify gaps on the demand vs strategic objectives and take the right actions to mitigate risks.
- Manage LTS, MWD and work with segments and GEOs to drive consumption of aged components.
- Provide visibility on segment/GEO consolidated demand and gaps vs management target and long-term objectives.
- Work with GSC, Segments GEOs and IDG executive team on hedging, risk buys, BA and other strategic actions to minimize supply risks, parts inventory and E&O.
- Build and develop relationships across all levels of the company to be able to collect timely and accurately information & improve efficiencies and BMS.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field
- 7+ years experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management
- Past experience in statistical analysis software and Excel
