Job description
Labourer – Shipping/receiving - Inventory
At ADI – Albert Davidson Industries, we are a family-oriented company in custom manufacturing of stainless-steel products, that is constantly growing, developing and improving our techniques, values and opportunities.
We are currently looking to fill our position: Labourer – Inventory, Shipping, Reception, Maintenance
Schedule – Monday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 6:00 am to noon.
Spoken languages: English and French.
Starting wage: from $ 20,00 to $ 24,00 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the inventory of the raw material: sheets, pipes and profiles
- Responsible for the preventative maintenance of the equipment of the plant
- Responsible for the shipping preparations of our products
- Responsible for the packaging of items to ship
- Responsible for the reception of products coming in and out of the Plant
- Loading and unloading trucks / plant cranes / forklift
- Perform simple cutting operations of profiles and pipes to the required dimension
What we are looking for:
- Basic knowledge of the metal products manufacturing
- Experience working on the Plant, steel product manufacturing
- Knowledge how to use a measuring tape imperial/metric
- Basic knowledge to read the drawing of the manufacturing of steel products
- Basic knowledge how to operate the bridge crane 5 tons (training provided on site)
- Basic knowledge how to operate a forklift (training provided on site)
- Driver license (mandatory)
