Job description

We are currently looking for several Production worker with previous experience in the food industry! If you are interested in full time work and bring relevant experience we can get you started right away!

What you need to know:

In this role, your main responsibilities will be working with Sushi products and preparing them to be shipped out.

Position: Full time
Title: Production Packer
Shift time: Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
Location: Mitchell Island, Richmond, BC
Payrate: $18 an hour + 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities
Duties included but not limited to:
- Defrosting of Raw Material (Unpacking the raw material and placing them on a rack)
- Matching the defrosting items with "Defrosting Slip"

- Reading the daily production schedule and following it
- Packing the final product

Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Reliable Mode of Transportation.
- Prior Seafood Experience is an asset
- Ability to multi-task, pick orders, load and unload materials in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset.
- Positive attitude, flexible and adaptable, high energy, quick learner and self-motivated.
- Good attention to detail
- Safety shoes required
