Job Description:

We are looking for a Smokehouse Production Clerk to join our team. This smokehouse position is an integral part of a team that is responsible for making Red Barn’s Own Smokehouse products.  We are looking for a candidate that will be accountable for product integrity, safety and cleanliness of the department.

We will train you in all stages of our smokehouse facility from receiving products, cutting, trimming and mixing to smoking our famous bacon. Be part of the team that produces our legendary locally smoked products for our 7 Red Barn Market stores and various restaurants around the city.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Duties also include cleaning and operating machinery.
• Preparing and processing meat products
• Create a unique and varied array of high quality smoked products for sale
• Operating Smokehouse equipment, perform regular equipment checks for safety
• Ensuring that all products are processed according to quality standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment

Job Requirements:

• Thursday-Monday availability (9am-5pm)
• Great Attitude and work ethic
• Ability to work in a cold environment
• Ability to work alone as well as with a team
• Able to lift up to 50lbs, heavy lifting required
• Reliability and respect for fellow employees
