Job description
 
 Our client, a leading manufacturer of EDM CNC machinery, is seeking a  Regional Sales Manager  . This company is globally recognized for precision engineering and innovative technology solutions in the mold and die industry.  
 
 
  As the Regional Sales Manager – Toronto you will lead the sales team and drive business growth in EDM / HSM / Additive machinery and related systems. This role requires a strong technical background in wire or sinker electrical discharge machining/EDM machinery and accessories, a deep understanding of the user market in the Ontario province, and experience collaborating with machine tool distributors.  
 
 
  Responsibilities:  
 -  Develop and maintain sales strategies and territory planning to meet assigned sales revenue targets. 
 -  Oversee distribution managers and sales representatives. 
 -  Establish and maintain relationships with customers in assigned territories through frequent customer visits, communication, and participation in trade shows. 
 -  Increase account penetration at established and potential customers. 
 -  Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle. 
 -  Provide one-on-one sales presentations. 
 -  Interact with other departments to ensure the correct handling of customer requirements. 
 -  Stay informed about market and industry trends, competitors, and partners to ensure the company’s products remain competitive and well received. 
 -  Track customer information, forecasts, and reports to maintain an effective sales database. 
 -  Responsible for new business development through prospecting, qualifying, and selling EDM / HSM / Additive machinery and related systems. 
 -  Utilize data analysis to determine sales potential and formulate effective sales strategies. 
  
 
 
  Qualifications and Skills Required:  
 -  BA/BS in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or equivalent experience. 
 -  Minimum of 5 years of experience in the machine tool industry with preferred EDM experience. 
 - 5 years of sales management with a proven record of achievement. 
 -  Demonstrated supervisory experience. 
 -  Ability to self-motivate, multitask, and work independently or within a team. 
 -  Strong technical experience with wire or sinker EDM machinery and accessories. 
 -  Solid understanding of the user market in Ontario province. 
 -  Experience working with machine tool distributors. 
 -  Solid planning, forecasting, and budgeting experience. 
 -  Strong documented sales experience with measurable results. 
 -  Management potential in the near term, demonstrating the potential to grow within the organization and build a cohesive, productive sales, marketing, and technical team. 
  
 
 
  Location and Benefits:  This role is based in Toronto, Canada. The company offers competitive compensation packages, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, comprehensive health benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a global organization known for innovation and excellence. Total compensation is $100,000 - $125,000 USD PLUS BONUS.
