Job description

The Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA) is seeking a permanent full-time Senior Consultant- Employee and Labour Relations. This position is responsible for providing employee and labour relations services to member boards of education including leading and assisting local bargaining; providing collective bargaining agreement and legislation interpretation; providing HR advice on recruitment and retention, policy creation, discipline, termination, harassment prevention, and duty to accommodate. This position also provides HR and employee relations support to the SSBA. This position reports to the Director, Legal Services.
Typically, the knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are obtained through completion of a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years related experience to the position. A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) is an asset.
