Based in Sudbury, the Project Manager, Civil Engineering will report to the Senior Project Manager/ Principal and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on the preparation and review of technical deliverables for clients.
What You’ll Do:
The Project Manager, Civil Engineering will be part of TULLOCH’s Engineering team. You will:
- Function as Project Manager in all aspects of municipal and land development project delivery including bidding and proposal preparation, project setup, logistics, resource and technical planning and execution, billing and collections, and project budget management
- Establish new projects and provide project updates to the Senior Project Manager and General Manager
- Actively pursue business development opportunities and procure new clients
- Manage engineering and design staff in project execution, while providing mentorship and direction to your team
- Complete engineering designs including storm water management, earthworks, wastewater conveyance, potable water distribution, and transportation;
- Complete, check, and review technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, engineering calculations, and permit applications
- Oversee client relations and engagement, lead client meetings, and ensure client satisfaction

Who You Are:
- You have a degree in Civil or Water Resources Engineering
- You have 10-15 years of experience in the design and management of land development and municipal infrastructure projects
- You have a P.Eng. licence (required)
- You have experience managing and supervising other professionals
- You can exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectives
- You are willing to travel as needed
What You Should Bring:
- Knowledge of applicable government submission and review processes and technical standards
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, MS Office)
- Thorough understanding of general engineering concepts, practices, and legislative requirements
- Attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
- High motivation with results-oriented focus
- Superior organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to navigate confidential matters and manage sensitive data
- Valid Class G driver’s licence
