Your daily role
Under the supervision of the Director of Product Development and Commercialization and as a Project Manager, you actively participate in the strategic development of Nortera. You participate in the development of new products on the market by leading projects from concept to commercialization, bringing together and mobilizing the various stakeholders (sales, R&D, marketing, operations and supply chain). You will ensure that all necessary steps for product introduction are completed, starting with the sales briefing, through to the customer's first purchase order.
THE ROLE:
- Act as an internal business partner to meet customer needs regarding product launches requiring development (certifications, testing, FPR requirements, etc...) for New Product Projects (NPD); < /li>
- Work with R&D to create recipes and articles if necessary;
- Prepare a project schedule and follow up on critical dates;
- Work collaboratively with internal departments regarding upcoming packaging requests and changes in order to have a successful launch;
- Manage all requirements to ensure new and/or revised products are brought to market accurately as soon as possible;
- Collaborate with different external suppliers for various projects (suppliers of polyethylene, boxes/cartons, etc.);
- Work on other related projects aimed at improving our internal processes;
- In collaboration with category management and sales, participate in portfolio optimization (assortment gaps, life cycle analysis, product launches and delistings);
- Lead special projects with external certifiers (example: Aliments du Québec, Kosher, etc...);
- Develop knowledge of the category.
Your profile - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in project management;
- Bachelor's degree in administration (or any other combination of relevant training and experience);
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Proficiency in French and English (projects across Canada and the United States);
- Commitment to supporting and serving customers / Customer service capability;
- Anticipation and proactivity;
- Perseverance and solution orientation;
- Autonomy and spirit of initiative;
- Good knowledge of the legislation governing labeling rules in Canada, the United States and internationally (an asset).
