Current Rate of Pay : Min $22.04 - Max $25.05

Current Shifts : 12 hours, Days, evenings and nights, rotating shifts

Position Summary:

The Nursing Support Assistant (NSA) role is a member of the interdisciplinary care team at GGH. Working closely with the Nursing and PSW staff, the NSA role provides additional support to patients with special needs who may benefit from a higher level of supervision or who require extra attention to keep them free of risk.

This unregulated care provider provides support by assisting some aspects of patient care which may include meal assistance, mobilization (including turning and positioning), call bell response, close observation, redirection, therapeutic activities, safety checks and documenting as required.
