Remote Sales Business Development / Account Manager

We are looking for a driven individual, who gets excited about making a positive impact in their community. Hope Builders is a non-profit providing young adults with training and job skills to connect them with career opportunities. Hope Builders Career Connections is the agency’s social enterprise staffing company. We are currently growing our sales team to create new job opportunities for our graduates!

The overall goal of this position is to cultivate relationships with new businesses, leading to new job opportunities for our Hope Builders graduates. To do this, you will research businesses, identify key players, generate interest, and provide a high-level overview of 

Hope Builders’ mission and services.

The Role

• Familiarize yourself with Hope Builders' mission to skillfully establish best practices and processes for comprehensive business development growth.
• Oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting, outreach, and proposal development through deal closure
• Research prospects and identify stakeholders to create leads and generate interest
• Connect and build relationships with local businesses to develop job orders
• Reengage with past clients to align their current business needs with Hope Builder’s services

Junior Level Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ degree is a plus, but not necessary
• 1-3 years of sales or cold-calling experience
• Enjoys researching and digging for the details
• Go-getter attitudes who can overcome rejection quickly
• Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every single day
• Can successfully work remotely, but is within an hour of the Santa Ana area
