Job description
MAXX North America Services Ltd., a leading provider of energy transportation services across Western Canada, is looking to hire Pipefitter/Pipefitter Apprentice for our Pipeline Integrity Division!
Duties
- The pipefitter will configure, install, fit, maintain, and ensure smooth operation of the piping system
- Welds, cuts, bends, threads, solders, and fits pipes
- Attaches pipes and piping systems to walls
- Installs insulation and pipe covering
- Inspects pipes, testing for pressure and leaks
All applicants must have the following:
× Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment testing.
× 5 years of experience
x Ability to use a variety of tools including blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches
× Must be willing to work out of town (90% of work is out of town)
× Flexibility to work overtime on weekends as required to meet client requirements
× Must be willing to work shift work. Must be flexible to work rotating shifts and possible night shift
× Must have a valid and clean Full Class 5 Drivers License - drivers abstract required.
Must have the following safety tickets:
× Standard First Aid Level C
× CSTS 20
× H2S Alive
× Ground Disturbance Level 2
× Any relevant equipment training.
× Must have a full class 5 drivers license- clean drivers abstract required.
