Modeler

Business unit: Transit

You will report to the Modeling Manager. A humane and mobilized leader, he is always ready to contribute to the development of each member of his team. His leadership style is focused on respect and trust.

Your role :

• Design and implement algorithms in collaboration with universities
• Building transportation models
• Create a survey plan to measure the mobility of a population
• Develop predictive models for the consumption of electric vehicles
• Develop an open source library for transport modeling
• Develop web applications for transport professions
• Develop a modeling service with hosting and computing in the cloud

Your profile :

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.
• 1 to 4 years of experience with programming language Python.
• Fluency in French and functional level of English in order to be able to work closely in collaboration with stakeholders in Ontario.

Good to have qualities and skills (Assets)

• Experience in transport modeling. Training will be provided.
• Knowledge of data manipulation tools such as Pandas and scikit-learn
• Training in operational or algorithmic research
• Skills in the field of Geographic Information Systems
• Knowledge of web languages and technologies (JavaScript, Vue and a language for APIs)
• Knowledge of AWS cloud technologies
