As the Director, Primary and Urgent Care, within the System Integration team at the Department of Health and Wellness, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders and system partners leading the development, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programs related to primary and urgent care in Nova Scotia.
This position will work closely with our partners at the Nova Scotia Health Authority, IWK Health Authority, community health boards/centers, health professional regulatory bodies and various health and social services stakeholders to ensure primary and urgent care in Nova Scotia is effectively meeting the needs of Nova Scotians and the objectives of government. You will develop and advance recommendations to monitor and improve performance. The position will also work in partnership with Tajikeimik on their journey of health transformation and will partner on the growth and evolution of the health and wellness services and programs used by Mi’kmaw people in Nova Scotia.

Pay Grade:EC 13
Salary Range: $3,918.14 - $4,897.66 Bi-Weekly
