Position: Controller
Location: Pointe-Claire
Salary: 125K to 150K
Our client, a successful consumer good distributor, is looking to hire a Controller to help them manage the accounting department. As a controller, you will be responsible for the financial management, the administration of accounting systems, preparation of reports, and maintenance of accounting records. The controller is a proactive individual who is the main support to the President.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day accounting & financial statement
- Analyze and advise on revenue, expenses, and balance sheets
- Develop, document, and enforce business processes and accounting policies
- Management of budgeting and cash flow forecasting
- Manage and oversee Accounts Payable and Receivables
- Manage the special Accounts volume rebates
- Manage and oversee inventory
- Maintain and monitor tax compliance
- Manage and prepare payroll
- Coordinate activities for external Accountants as it relates to year-end
- Establish targets and manage all accounting and finance employees, including Management Accountants and Internal Auditors
- Supervise all audit and internal control processes
- Prepare detailed reports on the company’s financial performance
- Analyze trends to reduce financial risks associated with making investments or spending decisions
Requirements:
