What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests to the property
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list as needed
- Manage reservations
- Escort guests to assigned dining or bar area
- Provide menus for guests and notify party of Server’s name
- Greet customers upon their departure
- Coordinate with servers about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
- Assist Servers as needed
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a host or server in a luxury or fast-paced environment
- Experience managing reservations
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends
