Job description

Castlegar, BC is a thriving community under serviced with physiotherapy as three practitioners have recently left the area. A full time physiotherapist position is immediately available for a motivated practitioner who is excited to work and build a practice independently in a dynamic multidisciplinary setting. Practice will involve assessment and treatment of a variety of private, ICBC and physician referral patients using manual skills and rehabilitative therapeutic exercise.

Kootenay Integrated Health is an integrated health center with the vision to become the first choice for healthcare in the Kootenay region of British Columbia. This premier facility includes a 5000 sq ft office space including multiple consultation rooms, an exercise therapy studio, and practitioner lounge.

Practitioners will enjoy a full service clinic with full time staff, booking and billing management, clinic marketing and promotion.

Renumeration will be on a fee for service percentage split basis.

Castlegar is the central hub of the West Kootenays with steady population and business growth. A regional base incorporates a drawing area of 70,000 people including Nelson, Trail, the Slocan Valley and beyond.

Successful candidate must possess:

Master's/Baccalaureate in Physical Therapy or Rehabilitation Sciences from a recognized program.

Current full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).

Eligible for membership in the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia (PABC).
