Job description
The Faculty of Arts is seeking a qualified sessional instructor to teach the following courses at the Brandon University Campus for the 2024 spring and summer sessions. These courses may be delivered in an online synchronous format but preference will be given to a qualified candidate who will teach in-person, unless otherwise specified. Qualifications: A PhD is preferred; Master’s Degree or equivalent required
Salary: $6314.00/3 credit hour course

54.154 World History Since 1500 Spring 2
This is an introductory survey of world history from 1500 to the twentieth century, giving students an overview of various world cultures and civilizations. Topics will include the expansion of Europe, the Muslim Empires, China from the Ming Dynasty, Japan, Africa and the industrial and political revolutions in Europe during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, and their impact around the world.
