Clerk Typist III
Temporary Full Time
Location: Happy Valley-Goose Bay

Reporting locally to the Director of Operations at Labrador Health Centre (LHC), the primary purpose of this position is to perform clerical and secretarial duties to operations at the site.

Qualifications:
" Graduation from high school supplemented by the successful completion of a two year diploma program in Business Education or Secretarial Science;
" Minimum of three years of relevant work experience;
" Typing speed of 50 words per minute;
" Ability to perform data entry and word processing;
" Knowledge of continuing care programs especially the Provincial special assistance programs;
" Knowledge of NLNU, NAPE agreements;
" Experience in Microsoft office programs;
" Satisfactory Code of Conduct is required;
" Knowledge of the Meditech and CRMS, is preferred;

Duties and Responsibilities: (Include but not limited to):
" Supply clerical support to the Operations/ Acute Care Dept.
" Maintains filing system;
" Compiles monthly statistical information on various programs and forwards as required;
" Organized various committee meetings by arranging suitable dates, contacting members and typing agendas and minutes and is available as required to take minutes.
" Makes travel arrangements and accommodations for Operations and other Acute Care staff as required;
" Responds to inquiries regarding Operations
" Assists clerical support to other managers or coordinators within the department as required;
" Able to work independently;
" Coordinates activities/ events related to Operations at the site.
" Other related duties as required.

Salary:

" CG-26 of the NAPE-HS Salary Scales, $24.06 to $26.63 per hour, plus the applicable Labrador Allowance.

Hours of Work:

" 75 hours bi-weekly.
