Job description

The Clinical Leader for Juravinski Intensive Care Unit will work with the Clinical Manager and care team to support and promote quality Critical Care for patients and families. The Clinical Leader will be responsible for supporting front line teams related to day-to-day issues including staff resources, support for health and safety practices, revision of policies and procedures, operational supplies and equipment.
The Clinical leader will support quality improvement initiatives particularly those related to corporate in year objectives and those aligned to Critical Care Service Ontario (CCSO). They will promote an environment which supports clinical excellence, continuous learning and supports the manager of the Intensive Care Units to develop the team, ensure front line staff have the facilities, equipment and resources necessary for the day to day functions and activities of the program.
The Juravinski Intensive Care Unit is a 26 bed tertiary care unit which supports multiple clinical programs including the regional programs providing specialized levels of care to the hematology, oncology, orthopedic and medical surgical patient populations.
