Job description

Our amazing client in Brantford is HIRING for a Millwright Mechanic on a straight day shift Monday to Friday.

The Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all building equipment as needed.

Responsibilities
Lead and assist major equipment installations, set-up and repairs of production machines and equipment, complete work orders
Perform general and major repairs to building installations, including heating, plumbing and electrical, and other building equipment as required
Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Make parts, simple tools and gauges as required
Perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

Qualifications
Must hold a 433A License
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Millwright
Able to accurately read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Electrical aptitude and willingness to assist in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance
Ability to communicate with the maintenance team effectively
