Our client is a leading electrical service provider dedicated to delivering innovative and eco-friendly solutions. They specialize in electrical service and maintenance for multi-unit residential buildings, small-scale construction projects, and installing Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment.
They are seeking to add a CFAA Certified Fire Alarm Technician to their dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth monthly and annual inspections and testing of fire alarm systems
- Manage routine maintenance, installation, and repair of fire alarm systems, focusing on control panels, detectors, and signaling devices
- Diagnose and troubleshoot fire alarm system issues, applying effective solutions
- Keep detailed and accurate documentation of all inspection, test, maintenance, and repair activities
- Stay current with emerging fire alarm technologies and practices to suggest system improvements for enhanced safety and efficiency
- Collaborate seamlessly with team members from various departments to ensure a coordinated approach to client service and project management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification
- Must possess a valid G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Proven track record in the testing, maintenance, installation, and repair of fire alarm systems
- Thorough knowledge of national and provincial codes and standards related to fire alarm systems
- Proficient in using Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
