Role:
Ensure all customer orders are processed on a timely basis and work with sales reps and customers
Responsibilities:
- Process all customer orders received by phone, fax, voicemail, or EDI, ensuring accuracy of data being entered and that all information required by plant personnel is communicated on a timely basis.
- Communicate with sales, shipping, production and confirmation desk with regards to shipping and delivery concerns, product availability, and other related issues.
- Liaise with Sales Representatives and customers to ensure problems affecting orders are promptly resolved.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries.
- Communicate with new and potential customers; advise on company policies and procedures, and expectations of services and products.
- Responsible for the administration of select corporate accounts.
- Maintain pre-price product table and price files on an as required basis.
- Contact selected customers on a weekly basis, advise of specials and features as directed by the Territory Sales Manager.
- Work with the sales and marketing department for introduction of new products.
- Maintain customer files for all out of town and major city customers. Information to include customer POs, contract pricing, sales promotions, etc.
- Maintain repeating order file, and update on an as-required basis.
- Call transfer for pick up orders and arrange for long weekend schedule changes.
- Work with transportation companies to maintain and improve the expected level of service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good keyboarding and basic computer skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to manage inter-departmental relationships with Sales and Marketing, Shipping and Receiving, Production, and Confirmation Desk.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with Customers and Freight Companies.
- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- 2-3 years in a customer service and administrative role.

Please note that the expected new hire salary range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sunrise Farms. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
