Job description

Our client, an IT Consulting and Systems Integration Company, is looking to hire an experienced s/w engineer to join their growing team.

In this role you will join an agile development team, supporting the design and development of custom solutions for a variety of clients.

Responsibilities:

Support the full SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing and go live.
Analyze requirements and create technical specifications
Design and develop clean, reliable, scalable solutions for a variety of customers
Support testing and commissioning of new software
Collaborate with team members in an agile delivery model
Technologies include but not limited to C#, ASP.net, .net core, MS SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, jQuery, Bootstrap, Docker

Experience / Skills Required

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Electrical or Software Engineering or other related discipline
Excellent communication skills – all roles are customer facing
3+ years of relevant full stack s/w development experience
Strong C# / .Net skills
Experience with MSSQL or MySQL
Front end development exp with jQuery or other JavaScript libraries, CSS and HTML
Experience developing web APIs and working with 3rd party APIs
Experience with microservices would be an asset
Experience working with Azure or other cloud technologies would be an asset
Experience with Azure DevOps would be an asset
Experience with agile or scrum s/w development methodologies
Highly adaptable and able to pick up new concepts quickly
Able to manage multiple projects at a time, prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines
