Job Description: Journeyman Electrician (Two-Year Contract with LOA Bonus)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for a two-year contract. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in electrical systems and a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will be part of our dynamic team, working on various projects and ensuring the highest standards of electrical safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to identify the cause of breakdowns and repair or replace faulty parts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Project Management: Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest electrical systems and technology to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- Proven experience as an electrician, with a strong focus on industrial and commercial projects.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, codes, and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
