ServiceNow Architect

Position Description
CGI is looking for a ServiceNow Architect to define and enable a comprehensive view across the business using technology. The ServiceNow Architect brings deep business and industry expertise, is familiar with industry standards, and effectively works and communicates with the senior management level.

Your future duties and responsibilities

What you’ll do:
• Understand and evaluate the underlying business goals of the Client;
• Architecting, designing, implementing and integrating ServiceNow solutions that are simple, intuitive, and easy to use that will allow customers to extend and customize the functionality of ServiceNow to meet their specific business need;
• Work closely with customers to understand the business direction, define the solution and present the solution design and architecture aspects to the client through presentations and Daily/Weekly discussions;
• Leading the design, development, testing, roll out and support of innovative software solutions, including mentoring ServiceNow Developers;
• Deal with a broad range of old and new technologies with the skills to recognize and exploit the advantages of both;
• Develop plans to migrate from the existing base to the target architecture;
• Understand and communicate ITIL principles, approaches and standards across teams;
• Work in team-oriented environments, providing architectural technical advice and expertise and guidance to key stakeholders on industry best practices.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow;
• At least seven (7) years working experience in the information technology sector;
• Strong knowledge of enterprise and solution architecture concepts, values, and methodologies;
• Possess broad range of technical knowledge (e.g. applications, enterprise technology, infrastructure, and telecommunications) and systems experience in multiple platforms;
• Work experience in a tiered support role, such as Ops or SecOps preferred;
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate ideas to technical and business audiences;
• A drive for success and to help others achieve their goals;
• Experience in Internet Service Provider (ISP) industry an asset.
