Your new company
Our client, a large service-based business located in Cambridge are looking to hire for a Controller to oversee the day-to-day running of their accounting function.
Your new role
The Controller will report to the VP Finance and will oversee a large team in the smooth running of the day-to-day accounting function. The Controller will be responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of financial statements as well as maintaining the GL. The Controller will secure financing when required and handle banking relationships. The Controller will carry out financial statement analysis and assist senior management with special projects as required.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role of Controller, you will need to hold a CPA designation as well as a post-secondary degree in accounting or a related field. The Controller will need to have a minimum of 7+ years of experience - preferably in a project-based organisation. The Controller is required to be a proven people manager and have at least 3 years of experience in a management level role. The Controller will ideally have knowledge of US/Canadian taxation as well as experience with various ERP systems.
