As a High-Rise Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities for our high-rise residential projects. Your strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive project success will be crucial in ensuring the timely completion of projects, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
1. Project Execution: Oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors, tradespeople, and other site staff, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure high-quality workmanship and project success.
3. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, coordinating activities to ensure efficient workflow, meet project milestones, and deliver projects on time.
4. Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict quality control processes, conducting regular inspections and ensuring compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
5. Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, adhering to all health and safety regulations, conducting regular site safety inspections, and taking prompt action to address any safety concerns or incidents.
6. Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors, ensuring a cohesive and productive working environment.
7. Problem-solving: Proactively identify and resolve construction-related issues, provide innovative solutions, and make informed decisions to mitigate risks and overcome challenges.
8. Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization, working closely with the project management team to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders on project status, milestones, and financial performance.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent in the high-rise residential construction industry.
2. High-Rise Construction Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience in managing high-rise residential construction projects, including concrete structures, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
3. Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse team, promote a collaborative work environment, and foster employee growth and development.
4. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices related to high-rise residential construction.
5. Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, develop and execute project plans, and deliver projects within budget and on schedule.
6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, build strong relationships, and resolve conflicts.
