Status: Contract Full Time; 24 month duration 

Salary Range: $100,172-$125,213 per annum plus comprehensive benefits

Location: 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton 

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Our Human Resources team is growing and we are looking for a seasoned Advisor to lead our Benefit Program to ensure it's progressive, responsive to the wellness of employees but maintains cost effectiveness. 

 

What you will do in this role:

 

In this role you will lead the benefit review project(s) to identify program and process redesign opportunities and develop recommendations to ensure it's competitive, sustainable, marketable and meets the needs of a diverse workforce. 

 

You will participate in external benchmarking surveys and analyze results to recommend a redesign or influence potential union negotiations. Utilizing your experience, you will provide insights and guidance on benefit policy interpretation and claims, initiate revisions to contracts and benefit booklets, work with your Manager for the annual benefit contract renewal as well as lead the annual early retiree benefit premium renewal process. 

 

This role involves the use of your analytical skills to analyze costing and provide advice during the benefit negotiation strategy during collective bargaining or to management. It will involve analyzing complex benefits utilization, costs, and trends, identify risks and areas that need improvement and make recommendations according to your findings. As well as, you will prepare a demographic report and risk analysis data for annual benefit renewal. 

 

This work will involve collaborating with several internal and external partners.

In this role you will have the ability to work remotely and attend on-site when required based on operational requirements at the 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton   worksite. The frequency of on-site activities may vary on a weekly basis and based on operational requirements. Your remote work location must be located within the province of Ontario.
