Job description
St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part Time, Probationary, Educational Assistant 4 for a work assignment at École Élémentaire Muriel Martin Elementary School .

Hours of Work : 27.5 hrs. /week; 5.5 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Part Time, Probationary
Hourly Rate: $20.56 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
Start Date: As soon as possible

Specific Needs/Requirements for this position: Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
Candidate must have strong skills in managing students’ behavior
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention or Verbal Intervention Training an asset
Preferred candidates would have experience working with elementary students education
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team preferred
Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset
Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies an asset
Foundational knowledge about First Nations, Metis, and Inuit education would be an asset
