Who are we looking for?

Our offices in Ontario are looking for an experienced and highly skilled experienced technical project manager to work within the Integrated Water Management Business Group to support a team of highly skilled water network modellers. This opportunity can provide the successful candidate the ability to help grow a team, manage their own projects, develop their own clients and assist in the development of the business into other associated areas of work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water network modelling, with specific expertise in Innovyze InfoWater, InfoWorks WS PRO, GIS software, and extensive experience in clean water network master planning projects and project management. The successful candidate should be a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the province of Ontario, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Water Network Modelling: Develop and maintain accurate and efficient water distribution system models using Innovyze InfoWater and InfoWorks WS PRO.
• Master Planning: Lead and contribute to clean water network master planning projects, including data collection, analysis, and scenario development.
• GIS Integration: Utilize GIS software to integrate spatial data into water network models, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the modelling process.
• Hydraulic Analysis: Conduct hydraulic analysis of water distribution systems to optimize performance, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements.
• Model Calibration: Perform calibration and validation of water network models based on field data, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of simulation results.
• Project Management: Manage clean water network modelling projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, planners, and GIS specialists, to integrate modelling activities into broader water infrastructure projects.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of water network models, methodologies, and project activities.

What you will bring to the team :

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Certification: Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certified in the province of Ontario.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in clean water network modelling, with a focus on master planning projects.
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in Innovyze InfoWater, InfoWorks WS PRO, and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Proven experience in managing water network modelling projects from conception to completion.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute effectively to multidisciplinary projects.
