GHD is looking for Support Staff to join our facilities team in Waterloo, Ontario.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Order catering and set up/clean up of rooms for meetings and events
• Track inventory on spreadsheet and reorder in a timely fashion
• Liaise with vendors on a regular basis
• Monitor feedback forms and action items when necessary
• Clean and refill coffee machines
• Clean kitchens and eating areas and restock supplies
• Empty dishwashers and put clean dishes away
• Clean boardrooms and meeting areas
• Clean gym and equipment
• Wash, fold, and put away gym towels
• Restock vending machines
• Basic care for office plants
• Other misc. duties as required

What you will bring to the team:

• Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Minimum one year experience in cleaning and maintenance, preferably in a commercial building
• Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and written
• Highly motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask and work within tight timelines
• Must be punctual, reliable, and hardworking
• Friendly and patient attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor
