Join our Victoria government client on an initial 12-month contract as a Business Analyst for a critical digital systems project. Responsibilities
Work in this project encompasses:
• service design for the entire client journey
• continuous client engagement enabling successful co-development of projects
• elicitation and documentation of client requirements
• development of internal processes for scalable client delivery
• creation of training resources and user guides
• working closely with developers to ensure new features and tools meet user needs

The successful candidate will be the Business Analyst for a critical digital systems project will be working within a branch that operates by developing and delivering using Agile methodology.

The successful candidate will build and maintain client relationships and work with clients to understand requirements and opportunities for new features and service improvements. They will work collaboratively with the Database Administrator, to understand and communicate user needs, and inform design and development.

Qualifications
Education
• Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Degree or higher in a business, design or technology
discipline or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience gained working in a business analysis capacity.
• Diploma in a design or technology discipline or a related field, and 3 or years more of experience gained working in a business analysis capacity.

Experience
• Business analysis experience on technical products. Preference for products including or related to incident management technology.
• Experience with business analysis activities for changing a process or service, including writing training, educational and/or marketing materials to help onboard clients and increase uptake of a new process.
• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Experience working collaboratively with developers and UX/UI designers to understand and communicate user needs.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment, as part of a multidisciplinary team iteratively creating and improving digital products and services.
• Experience with related UX Design methods and tools, including journey maps, service blueprints, and personas.

In addition to the skills and experience set out above, the Proponents should demonstrate that the proposed Consultant(s) have the following additional skills and experience:
• Knowledge of application design and development lifecycle
• Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders
• Presentation and writing skills
• Knowledge of ticket/incident management technology, preference for Jira Service Management, JIRA, Confluence.
