Job description
Contract (March 2024 to June 2025)
We are now seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. Within this role, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Prepare monthly account reconciliations, investigate and resolve outstanding issues identified;
Prepare financial reports including collection, analysis and summarizing account information and trends;
Bi-weekly payroll processing including ad hoc calculations;
Manage expenditure accounts;
Month end closing functions;
Assist during yearly close and preparation of year-end working papers for external audit;
Filing and remitting taxes;
Customer billings and managing customer accounts;
Working on cross functional project teams where required;
Back-up for other Finance roles, as well as benefit insurance administration;
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and collaborate and implement solutions.
