As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of these diverse facilities.


Your new role

The Senior Operations Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day functions of Central City office tower and shopping centre. This includes maintaining operating systems, performing repairs and routine scheduled maintenance, and overseeing the operations team. The primary goal of this position is to lead the Operations Department with operational procedures to maximize the efficient management and operation of the building. The focus of the Senior Operations Manager is to provide guidance, manage and inspect all building and site operations in the areas of facilities and equipment maintenance (Inc. All mechanical, electrical, power, plumbing, security and other auxiliary equipment), HVAC, fire and life safety, emergency procedures, ground-keeping and security.


What you need

To excel in this role, you'll need to bring proven experience in a similar position within a commercial or retail portfolio (preference given to those with multi-use centre experience). You should have strong knowledge of HVAC and DDC controls, experience with budgeting and leading a team plus managing capital projects. You should have the ability to communicate effectively and be a self-motivated, proactive, team player. Preference is given to those who hold a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate.
