Job description
WRT Equipment Ltd. is currently seeking a motivated person for the position of Assistant Plant Manager. WRT Equipment Ltd. is a manufacturer of high quality products and components for the aggregate, asphalt and mining industries. We are an ISO:9001 2015 Quality Management System registered company.
The position reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for day-to-day activities within the company including:
Scheduling and Production Work Package Release
Customer relations
Maintenance of equipment and procurement
Maintaining ISO Quality system
Maintaining Welding certifications for the plant
Identifying and ensuring Training requirements are met for plant personnel
Maintaining COR Safety Program
CNC Nesting
Steel purchasing
Qualifications:
Engineering Technical Diploma or Degree is preferred
Strong organizational skills
Strong inter-personal skills
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of production (technology, equipment, materials, scheduling and safety)
Must hold and maintain a Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Experience:
5 plus years of progressive responsibility in a manufacturing environment
