Promote change and foster engagement in this important role

Context : The Strategic Integration, Policy and Legislation Division of the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) is responsible for research, engagement and development of legislation, policy and procedures; work which both guides day-to-day operations and the investments required for transformational change

The Role : The Ministry of Children and Family Development is undergoing major change in service delivery to youth and young adults transitioning to adulthood from government care. The Change Management Specialist is accountable and responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of a variety of provincial change management initiatives that support transformational change, process improvement, service delivery and practice improvement as directed by the Minister’s Mandate letter.

About this Position:

This is a temporary opportunity until March 31, 2025. A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment.

Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.

An eligibility list may be established for future permanent and / or temporary opportunities.

Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment.
