Roma Moulding is seeking an Operations Leader with experience manufacturing, production and/or assembly. The Operations Leader is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and controlling the day-to-day operation of our manufacturing facility and warehouse in Woodbridge, which includes but is not limited to shipping/receiving, supply chain management, packaging, order processing, and inventory control.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize the production process to meet quality and efficiency standards.

• Ensure production schedules are met and adjust staffing as needed.

• Collaboration with Production Lead to maintain a safe and productive working environment.

• Maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards and customer expectations.

• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to identify and address quality issues promptly.

• Manage inventory levels and stock, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available for production.

• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Leader to maintain optimal stock levels and procurement.

• Lead and mentor the Production and Office team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

• Hire, train, and evaluate team members as needed, ensuring they are well-equipped to perform their roles.

• Identify and implement operational efficiencies to reduce costs and improve productivity.

• Monitor and assess operational KPIs, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• Ensure all team members are trained in safety procedures and adhere to them.

• Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate operational performance and efficiency.

• Provide insights and recommendations for strategic improvements.

• Complete tasks that may be assigned by the Director of Operations.

What we require from you:

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or related field. A master's degree is advantageous.

• Minimum 5 years experience in operational management, preferably in a similar industry

• Demonstrated success in optimizing operational processes and achieving efficiency.

• Professional development in operations management and leadership.

• Familiarity with custom framing or art-related industries is advantageous.

• Comprehensive knowledge of production and operational management.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems and quality control processes.

• Certification or extensive training in 5S methodology is preferred.

• Additional training in Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic operational environment.

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and productivity.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.

• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in using operational management tools and software.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
