Each store has its own unique inventory, as does each community. We are seeking a Senior Assistant Manager in the Edmonton market for a very high-volume location.
DESCRIPTION
- Assist in overseeing all store operations and communicate plans to drive sales, production levels, and customer service as needed.
- Assist in meeting established revenue goals by optimizing product production and customer satisfaction within budgeted expense levels.
- Train and coach all employees to reach their potential as highly productive individuals, and highly productive and collaborative members of the team.
- Ensure that the highest level of shopper/donor satisfaction and professionalism are attained.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have experience in a big box setting.
- Experience in retail apparel or similar commodity experience.
- 3+ years as a Store Manager or 5+ years with Assistant Manager retail experience.
- Proven ability to build a strong team and people management skills.
- Strong store P&L experience and the ability to identify opportunities and lead a team to optimize performance.
- Proven track record of success in producing solid financial results.
- Strong merchandise management and inventory control expertise
- Superior communication and organization skills
- Proficient in time management and initiative
- Proven leadership skills in mentoring and coaching staff
- Good analytical skills
