Applicants must be:
- at least 16 years of age at the time of hire and currently enrolled in Grade 10, 11 or 12 and have previous relevant work experience
- or have graduated with a High School diploma/GED
- or are currently enrolled in or seeking enrollment in a post-secondary educational institution
The following positions are available, including a brief description:
- Laundry Worker
- Ensure continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products.
- Porter
- Provides an escort, transfer, transportation and delivery service as requested.
- Unit Aide
- Responsible for ordering, stocking and maintaining all supplies and equipment to meet the needs of patients in their designated work area.
- Must have completed Grade 12
- Utility Worker in Housekeeping/Environmental Services
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas.
- Health Support Aide
- Responsible for daily routines of care to support patients/clients with activities of daily living.
- Must have completed Grade 12
- Utility Worker or Restaurant Worker in Nutrition & Food Services
- Works in the patient and retail food service setting.
