The primary function of this position is to Quote, Bind and Sell profitable personal lines new business, contributing to overall sales and growth of the business.
Must have a RIBO license, 2 plus years of proven insurance sales and a drive to exceed.

- Respond to all sales e-mails received
- Return all voice messages left in the general voice mail box for sales opportunities

- Ex-date viable prospects for next year contact building a database of good risks
- Daily sales follow ups
- Respond immediately to Live Chat prospects
- Consistently available for Pro Active chat feature to increase sales opportunities
- Assist with UA testing for system changes when required
Job Responsibilities
- Establish personalized telephone, on-line chat and/or e-mail contact with the prospect
- Create a climate of trust conducive to the sale of a home and/or auto insurance policy
- Educate and advise the prospects on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies
- Seize all sales opportunities, solicitation, and product offerings
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
- Responsible for maintaining accurate & timely client records in accordance with company guidelines
- Ability to analyze, counsel and recommend coverages (ie. AB options, overland water etc.), identify and fill coverage gaps, identify cross sell opportunities etc.
- Maintain solid understanding of all product knowledge and underwriting guidelines for all major classes of Insurance and specialty risks that the Company offers
- Provide feedback on an ongoing basis to manager regarding insurer concerns regarding pricing, product, and underwriting.Respond to client requests and inquiries across a number of channels (voice, chat, e-mail) in a prompt and professional manner and process timely and accurate completion of quote/sales process
