With up to 1.0 FTE Contracts

THE ROLE

The North Vancouver School District offers a variety of options for French Immersion education with the goal of producing  well-educated , functionally bilingual students.  Students in the program achieve a level of learning in all subject areas equivalent to that achieved by students in the English program. Working with students who are not native French speakers, you will be responsible for teaching all subjects in French. 

Candidates for this position may be eligible for reimbursement of expenses incurred for pre-hire travel, relocation, and immigration, as well as for a pre-employment signing bonus of up to $1,500 less required deductions.

LE RÔLE

Le conseil scolaire de North Vancouver offre une variété d'options pour l’enseignement en immersion française dans le but de produire des élèves bien instruits et fonctionnellement bilingues. Les élèves du programme atteignent un niveau d'apprentissage dans toutes les matières équivalent à celui atteint par les élèves du programme anglais. En travaillant avec des élèves dont la langue maternelle n'est pas le français, vous serez chargé d'enseigner toutes les matières en français.
