Job description

SJT Contracting Inc. is a reputable general contractor that brings clients’ visions to reality through one-on-one customer care and attention to detail. SJT’s close-knit team of professionals who share a passion for quality, integrity, and authenticity in every project and relationship, are seeking a like-minded individual with talents and attributes to efficiently manage the company office, oversee the administrative side of projects and operations, as well as provide administrative support to the owner.

Who are You?

You will be competent with QBO, experienced with MS Office and have attained near guru status with Excel and have the curiosity and flexibility to quickly learn new things. You also will easily get along with others, work well in a team on your own (i.e., self motivated) and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You also have sound knowledge of bookkeeping /basic accounting, and at least 2 years of administrative experience ideally in a project-based setting. Interest in the construction industry is valued, however computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, accounting and project SW), strong keyboarding skills, and high accuracy and attention to detail are far more important for the role. A valid BC driver’s license is also required along with credit check prior to hiring.
