POSITION: Logistics Coordinator
LOCATION: Vancouver, BC - Hybrid Work Model
HOURS: Monday to Friday We are searching for a Logistics Coordinator to join a growing company in the beverage alcohol industry. This role will oversee the end to end process of purchase orders, importing from global suppliers, and support pricing and product registrations while liaising with Canadian Liquor Boards. As the Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for optimizing shipping, tracking orders, monitoring inventory, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Responsibilities: - Issue and manage Purchase Orders end-to-end from multiple global suppliers
- Coordinate shipments with Suppliers and Freight Forwarders to ship on time
- Negotiate and acquire freight quotes to deliver shipments on budget
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels within BC warehouses and distribution sites
- Order Management, process and track Sales Orders ensuring timely processing and delivery
- Support pricing and liquor board applications / registrations
Requirements / Skills: - Experience with global Freight Forwarders and Logistics
- Supply Chain and Inventory Management experience
- Understanding of the Beverage Alcohol Supply Chain within Western Canada
- Decisive and efficient problem solver
- Able to thrive and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Resourceful, quick thinking, and takes initiative
- Accountable, takes pride and ownership of work
- Organized and high attention to detail
- Basic understanding of wine considered an asset
Base Salary: $55,000-70,000
