JOB DESCRIPTION
Full Stack Developer
As WorkplaceNL's Full Stack Developer you will be accountable for systems analysis, design, development and maintenance of computer-based systems and software solutions as WorkplaceNL operational needs require.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyzes problems involving existing and proposed systems and designs and develops solutions.
- Develops estimates for the design, development, quality assurance and implementation phases of systems projects.
- Establishes and executes procedures which ensure quality assurance and implementation of computer-based systems and software solutions.
- Develops and maintains programs, tables, procedures and documentation in accordance with Systems Development, Application Support, Technical Support and Operations standards.
- Develops and supports complex solutions in server-side and client-side programming languages, such as .NET, JavaScript, or other relevant programming technologies.
- Coordinates the development, quality assurance, testing and implementation of computer-based systems and software solutions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum five (5) years programming experience in complex software solutions.
- Minimum five (5) years systems analysis, design, development and co-ordination of application development projects.
- High degree of knowledge and experience in development technologies and strategies:
- HTML/CSS {User Interface web development};
- JavaScript;
- Server-side programming {.NET [C#, VB.NET]};
- Expert knowledge of Web Architecture;
- and REST {C#};
- Database {MS SQL, DB2, Oracle};
- SQL {building, testing and performance};
- Object oriented programming;
- SharePoint programming; and,
- Software integration with existing systems
- High degree of knowledge and experience using development toolsets:
- Visual Studio Development Environment (IDE);
- Azure Dev Ops; and
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
