MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Bridge Engineer for our client in Edmonton .

As we expand our team, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Bridge Engineer to contribute to our exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Develop detailed designs for bridges and related structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Structural Assessments: Conduct structural assessments and inspections of existing bridges, providing recommendations for maintenance, rehabilitation, or replacement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, environmental engineers, and construction professionals, to integrate bridge design with overall project requirements.
- Project Management: Manage and oversee bridge engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into bridge engineering projects.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews of design calculations, drawings, and specifications to guarantee accuracy and completeness .
Requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Proven experience in bridge design and analysis, with a minimum of [X] years in the field.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and SAP2000.
- Strong knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
