We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Traffic Planner. This role involves designing traffic management plans using Invarion Rapid Plan software and managing the permitting process with municipalities in the Lower Mainland.
What You Will Do Here:
- Utilize Invarion Rapid Plan software to design effective and compliant traffic management plans.
- Collaborate with project teams to incorporate project-specific requirements into traffic management designs.
- Ensure that all traffic control measures align with relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and submit traffic control permit applications to municipalities in the Lower Mainland.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and information are included in permit applications.
- Stay updated on municipal regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Monitor the progress of permit applications with municipalities.
- Maintain a detailed record of permit statuses and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively address any issues or delays in the permitting process.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from municipalities, providing clear and accurate information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address specific questions or concerns raised during the permitting process.
- Follow up with municipalities to provide additional information and ensure a smooth permit approval process.
- Maintain organized records of traffic management plans and permit-related documents.
- Assist in the preparation of reports on the status of traffic control permits and project timelines.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to streamline workflow and ensure efficiency.
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging
What You Will Bring to the Team:
- Previous experience in traffic management plan design and permitting administration is preferred.
- Proficient in using Invarion Rapid Plan software for traffic management plan design.
- Knowledge of traffic control measures, regulations, and safety standards.
- Demonstrated administrative experience with a focus on attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with municipalities and internal teams.
- Ability to provide clear and concise answers to questions from municipalities.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and evolving municipal regulations.

The expected pay range for this position is $55,000 - 70,000.
