Pay Rate: Starting at $26.50
Applicants must be Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens.
Possess excellent interpersonal abilities, adaptability, and a customer-focused approach.
Ensure the protection, custody, and transporting of medium to high-risk detained persons from one location to another location by strictly following the site order procedures.
Manage sensitive and confidential data with a high degree of discretion.
Execute emergency evacuation protocols when necessary.
Applying the use of force principles and methods of intervention respective to the situation when handling detainees.
Utilizing methods authorized by CBSA for conducting searches of cells, detainees, and property.
Promptly notifying the CBSA both verbally and in written form following critical incidents.
Provided necessary First-Aid and CPR assistance to individuals as needed, also performed self-harm observation duties.
1 + years experience in an unionized environment
Applicants must be Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens
Valid BC Security Licence
Standard First Aid 1 (OFA 1) is considered an asset.
Advanced Security Training (AST) is considered an asset.
Transport Security Clearance (TSC), RAIC, and Class 4 driver’s license are considered an asset.
Bilingual (French and English) an asset
