Job description
Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced HR/Employee Relations Specialist for an amazing permanent full-time opportunity with a great company right in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.
This role will be working out of a corporate head office but supporting communities in Northern Canada remotely. The ability to travel up to 30 days per year is needed.
Do you have a minimum of 3 years of HR and Employee Relations experience? Are you a strong communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills? Do you have experience working with Northern Communities? Are you comfortable managing difficult situations and able to keep calm in "crisis mode"? Do you have strong knowledge of employment legislation, and enjoy working with people? Are you a great problem solver, a critical thinker, and able to find solutions quickly? - Investigations
- Customer service
- Support disciplinary procedures
- Assist in creating and implementing change management
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 3 years of HR and Employee Relations experience with post-secondary education
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage difficult situations
- Ability to travel
- Tech-savviness (Microsoft Office)
- Previous experience with servicing northern communities would be considered an asset
