Senior Revit Designer

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Revit Designer for our Hamilton office. Join a dynamic, growing team of professional engineers and designers with innovative projects coupled with the opportunity to develop your career.
As a Senior Revit Designer, you are required to have the following skills:
- Revit modeling for building foundations and complex equipment foundations
- Revit modeling for structural steel — industrial building, equipment/services supports and access structures
- Creation of construction drawing packages for above noted concrete and steel structures
- Determine overall approach to modeling and drawing creation for large projects
- Working knowledge of Revit Structural Software
- Knowledge of structural steel and concrete design and detailing practices
- Industrial design experience
- Understanding of construction practices
- Work with engineers and designers in single discipline or multi-discipline environment
- Work independently on small projects
- Inform leads on progress and estimate time to complete work
- General understanding of industrial project requirements including layout/function, equipment vendor, other disciplines, client expectations
- Perform site work
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products — Outlook, Word, and Excel
The following qualifications and abilities are an asset:
- AutoCAD
- MicroStation
- Advance Steel
- Other 3D modeling software experience
- Use of point clouds
- Brownfield sites — ability to execute projects in existing facilities
- Architectural design/layout as it pertains to industrial buildings and offices
- Site plans and layout
- Grading and drainage
- Steel industry experience
- Experience checking drawings
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 10+ years relevant working experience
- High school diploma required
- College level diploma preferred, or related work experience
